Description

This kit employs primers and probes specifically designed for the Toxoplasma gondii genome, utilizing fluorescence PCR technology to amplify and detect nuclear DNA in vitro, enabling clinical pathogen diagnosis of suspected infected samples.

Application

Toxoplasmosis is a zoonotic disease caused by Toxoplasma gondii, with humans and animals as intermediate hosts and cats as its ultimate host. This disease is widely distributed around the world and seriously endangers the health of humans and animals. China has classified it as a Class II animal disease. Toxoplasma gondii often causes animal fever, dyspnea, neurological symptoms and extreme weakness, and a little cough, nasal secretions, foam vomit at the mouth, shaking, shaking head, dehydration and diarrhea. When female animals get sick, it causes abortion, causing great losses to animal husbandry everywhere. At present, there is no ideal drug or vaccine for treating Toxoplasma gondii. Timely diagnosis and prevention are effective measures to control the disease. Real time fluorescence PCR technology has become the development trend for detecting toxoplasmosis due to its high sensitivity, high specificity, and timely detection.

This kit is suitable for detecting Toxoplasma gondii in blood, cerebrospinal fluid, liver, spleen, kidney, suspicious food and other samples, and is used for auxiliary diagnosis of Toxoplasma gondii infection.

Application

Porcine circovirus (PCV) is a single stranded circular DNA virus with a genome length of approximately 1.7kb, making it one of the smallest animal DNA viruses. Two types of PCVs have been identified, namely circovirus type 1 (PCV1) and circovirus type 2 (PCV2). Between 2015 and 2016, a novel circovirus type 3 was first reported in the United States. The virus has a genome length of 2.0kb and can cause dermatitis, nephrotic syndrome, reproductive disorders, and inflammation in the heart and multiple systems in pigs. It is crucial for disease control in pig farms.

This reagent kit is suitable for detecting porcine circovirus type 3 in dead pigs (including stillbirths caused by miscarriage) or major organs (lymph nodes, spleen, lungs, kidneys, and liver), serum, and other samples of slaughtered pigs. It is used for auxiliary diagnosis of porcine circovirus type 3 infection.

Application

Porcine Circovirus is an infectious, congenital tremor, and multi system functional disorder in weaned piglets caused by Porcine Circovirus. The virus has two serotypes, PCV1 and PCV2, with PCV1 being non pathogenic. PCV2 has a strong immunosuppressive effect and is often manifested as a mixed infection of multiple pathogens in clinical practice. PCV2 is closely related to multiple system failure syndrome (PMWS) in weaned piglets and can also cause diseases such as dermatitis and nephritis syndrome, respiratory syndrome, and A2 type congenital tremor in pigs, causing huge economic losses to the pig industry. Therefore, early diagnosis of PCV2 infection is particularly important.

This reagent kit is suitable for detecting porcine circovirus type 2 in dead pigs (including stillbirths caused by miscarriage) or major organs (lymph nodes, spleen, lungs, kidneys, and liver), serum, and other samples of slaughtered pigs. It is used for auxiliary diagnosis of porcine circovirus type 2 infection.

Description

Streptococcus suis is an important zoonotic pathogen. Based on the diversity of its capsule polysaccharides, Streptococcus suis is divided into 35 serotypes. Streptococcus suis type 2 (SS-2) has the strongest pathogenicity and is also the most common pathogenic serotype in China. This kit is suitable for detecting Streptococcus suis type 2 in samples such as tonsils, organs or muscles, throat swabs, etc., and is used for auxiliary diagnosis of Streptococcus suis type 2 infection.

Specimen collection

Collection of tonsil, visceral or muscle samples: Use sterile scissors and tweezers to cut 1.0g of the sample to be tested, grind it thoroughly in a mortar, add 5mL PBS and mix well, then transfer the tissue suspension into a sterile centrifuge tube and number it for later use.

Pig swab sample collection: Throat swab sampling. During sampling, the swab should be scraped back and forth 3-5 times deep into the throat and upper jaw to collect throat secretions.

Application

Streptococcus suis is an important zoonotic pathogen that can cause various diseases, including meningitis, arthritis, endocarditis, sepsis, pneumonia, etc. According to the capsule polysaccharide antigen of bacteria, they can be classified into 35 serotypes, namely types 1-34 and type 1/2. So far, several provinces and cities in China have reported cases of Streptococcus suis infection. In 1998, nearly 80000 pigs were infected; In 2005, over 600 pigs were infected, causing huge losses to the pig farming industry. This kit is suitable for detecting the universal type of Streptococcus suis in samples such as tonsils, organs or muscles, throat swabs, etc., and is used for auxiliary diagnosis of Streptococcus suis universal type infection.

Specimen collection

Aseptically cut 1g of tonsils, viscera, or muscle samples from pigs that have died of illness or been slaughtered; When taking throat swab samples from pigs, the swab should be deeply inserted into the throat and upper jaw, and scraped back and forth 3-5 times to collect secretions.

Japanese encephalitis, also known as epidemic Japanese encephalitis or simply Japanese encephalitis, is a zoonotic infectious disease caused by the Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV). JEV is mainly transmitted through mosquito bites carrying the virus, and pigs are the main breeding and spreading hosts of JEV. JEV can cause miscarriage and stillbirth in pregnant sows, orchitis in boars, encephalitis in newborn piglets, and persistent high fever in fattening pigs, causing significant economic losses to the pig industry. Japanese encephalitis B is widely present in many countries around the world, posing a serious threat to human health.

This kit is suitable for detecting Japanese encephalitis virus RNA in samples and is suitable for auxiliary diagnosis of Japanese encephalitis virus infection.
