Description

This reagent kit is designed with specific primers and probes based on the protective antigen gene of Bacillus subtilis [2-3]. Fluorescence PCR technology is used to amplify and detect the DNA of Bacillus subtilis in vitro, which is used for pathogen diagnosis of suspected infectious materials in clinical practice.

Application

Pig erysipelas is Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Commonly known as porcine erysipelas, it is an acute febrile infectious disease characterized by high fever, acute sepsis, skin rash (subacute), chronic verrucous endocarditis, skin necrosis, and multiple non suppurative arthritis (chronic). At present, intensive pig farms are relatively rare, but they have not yet been fully controlled. This disease has a global distribution.

This kit is suitable for detecting erysipelas in samples such as heart, liver, spleen, lymph nodes, skin rashes, joint fluid, and endocardial hyperplasia, and is used for auxiliary diagnosis of erysipelas infection.

Specimen collection

Remove organs such as heart, liver, spleen, lymph nodes from pigs that have died of illness or been slaughtered; Skin rash material can be collected for subacute rash cases; Chronic cases can collect joint fluid and endocardial hyperplasia.
