1. -20℃ ±5℃, stored in the dark, transported, and subjected to repeated freeze-thaw cycles no more than 5 times, with a validity period of 12 months.

Description

This kit uses TaqMan probe method for real-time fluorescence PCR technology, designs a pair of porcine circovirus type 3 specific primers, and combines them with a specific probe to amplify and detect the nucleic acid of porcine circovirus type 3 in vitro using fluorescence PCR technology, which is used for pathogen diagnosis of suspected infectious materials in clinical practice.

Application

Porcine circovirus (PCV) is a single stranded circular DNA virus with a genome length of approximately 1.7kb, making it one of the smallest animal DNA viruses. Two types of PCVs have been identified, namely circovirus type 1 (PCV1) and circovirus type 2 (PCV2). Between 2015 and 2016, a novel circovirus type 3 was first reported in the United States. The virus has a genome length of 2.0kb and can cause dermatitis, nephrotic syndrome, reproductive disorders, and inflammation in the heart and multiple systems in pigs. It is crucial for disease control in pig farms.

This reagent kit is suitable for detecting porcine circovirus type 3 in dead pigs (including stillbirths caused by miscarriage) or major organs (lymph nodes, spleen, lungs, kidneys, and liver), serum, and other samples of slaughtered pigs. It is used for auxiliary diagnosis of porcine circovirus type 3 infection.
