Note: Different batches of reagents cannot be mixed.

Description

This kit is suitable for qualitative detection of Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever virus nucleic acid extracted from clinical samples or cultures such as cerebrospinal fluid and serum. The experimental results only provide reference for basic research and are not used as clinical diagnostic basis.

Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) is a tick borne natural infectious disease caused by the Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV). CCHFV is an RNA virus belonging to the Rincairidoe family of the Nairovirus genus. Distributed in Europe, Asia, and Africa, it is called Xinjiang hemorrhagic fever (XHF) in China. Its clinical features include fever, headache, bleeding, and hypotensive shock.

Application

This kit uses real-time fluorescence PCR technology and is suitable for nucleic acid detection of Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever virus extracted from clinical samples or cultures such as cerebrospinal fluid and serum. Each reaction system contains specific primers and fluorescent probes for detecting the gene of Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever virus. By collecting the fluorescent signal generated by PCR amplification, qualitative detection of Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever virus nucleic acid can be performed.

Specimen collection

RNA samples extracted from clinical samples or cultures such as cerebrospinal fluid and serum can be tested using this kit.

Serum: After natural coagulation of blood without anticoagulants, extract the supernatant.
