Description

This kit employs the double-antibody sandwich method to determine the level of Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV) in samples. Purified anti-RVFV antibodies are coated onto microplates to create solid-phase antibodies. The wells coated with monoclonal antibodies are sequentially added with RVFV, followed by binding with HRP-labeled anti-RVFV antibodies to form an antibody-antigen-enzyme-labeled antibody complex. After thorough washing, a substrate TMB is added for color development. TMB is converted to blue under the catalysis of HRP and further transformed into the final yellow color under acidic conditions. The intensity of the color is positively correlated with the RVFV level in the sample. The absorbance (OD value) is measured at a wavelength of 450nm using a microplate reader, and the RVFV concentration in the sample is calculated via the standard curve.

Application

This kit is designed for the determination of Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV) content in human serum, plasma, and related liquid samples.

Testing Scope

2pg/mL-80pg/mL

Specimen requirements

Extract the specimen as soon as possible after collection, according to relevant literature, and conduct experiments as soon as possible after extraction. If the experiment cannot be conducted immediately, the specimen can be stored at -20℃, but repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided.

Samples containing NaN3 cannot be detected because NaN3 inhibits the activity of horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
