Description
This kit adopts the two-step double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method. Samples and standards are sequentially added to microplate wells pre-coated with anti-human lysyl oxidase 2 (LOX2) antibody, followed by incubation and washing. Then HRP-labeled detection antibody is added, followed by incubation and thorough washing. The substrate TMB is used for color development: TMB is converted to blue under the catalysis of peroxidase, and then converted to final yellow under the action of acid. The color depth is positively correlated with the level of human LOX2 in the sample. The absorbance (OD value) is measured with a microplate reader at a wavelength of 450 nm to calculate the sample activity.
