Description
The kit employs the double-antibody one-step sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Specimens, standards, and HRP-labeled detection antibodies are sequentially added to wells pre-coated with bovine glutathione peroxidase 3 (GPX3) antibodies. After incubation and thorough washing, the substrate TMB is used for color development. TMB is converted to blue under the catalysis of peroxidase and ultimately turns yellow under acidic conditions. The intensity of the color is directly proportional to the concentration of bovine glutathione peroxidase 3 (GPX3) in the sample. The absorbance (OD value) is measured at a wavelength of 450 nm using a microplate reader, and the sample concentration is calculated.
