Description
This kit employs the double-antibody sandwich method to determine the level of human hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in specimens. Purified antibodies are coated onto microplates to create solid-phase antibodies. The coated monoclonal antibody wells are sequentially added with hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), followed by binding with HRP-labeled antibodies to form an antibody-antigen-enzyme-labeled antibody complex. After thorough washing, a substrate TMB is added for color development. TMB is converted into blue under the catalysis of HRP and further transformed into the final yellow color under acidic conditions. The intensity of the color is positively correlated with the hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in the sample. The absorbance (OD value) is measured at a wavelength of 450nm using an enzyme immunoassay reader, and the concentration of human hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in the sample is calculated via standard curve.
Application
This kit is used for the determination of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) levels in human serum, plasma, and related liquid samples.
Testing Scope
