The reaction system is lyophilized powder that contains all components required for fluorescence PCR, including Taq enzyme, reverse transcriptase, primers, probes, dNTPs, and Mg2+ etc.
Add 100μL Redissolved Diluent to the HHV-6 quantitative standard substances 1~4, mix well, and use a handheld centrifuge to centrifuge briefly before use.
Description
The kit uses real-time fluorescence PCR to detect HHV-6 with one pair of primers and one specific fluorescent probe respectively. The method was used for the quantitative detection of HHV-6 in serum or plasma samples. The kit is provided with an internal control(IC), which can monitor whether there is PCR inhibitor in the sample to be tested by detecting whether the IC is normal or not, so as to avoid false negative PCR.
Application
This kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative detection of human herpesvirus 6 DNA in serum or plasma samples. The detection results are applicable to the auxiliary diagnosis of diseases caused by HHV-6.
Human Herpers Viruses 6 (HHV-6) belongs to the family Herpesviridae β subfamily, genus Roseherpesviruses. The clinical features of HHV-6 infection are acute fever, upper respiratory symptoms and rash. The course of the disease is usually 3-5 days. The prognosis is good, and most patients have no sequelae. People with low immunity, such as HIV infected people, because HIV and HHV6 can both infect CD4+T cells and replicate in the same cell, it will accelerate the cleavage of CD4+T cells and accelerate and worsen the process of AIDS infection.
