Description
Anti-fade Mounting Medium (with DAPI) is a DAPI-containing water-based tablet sealing reagent used to preserve the fluorescence of tissues and cells. The tablet sealing agent can not only prevent the rapid photobleaching of various common fluorescent dyes, but also complete the DAPI staining of the nucleus at the same time. DAPI is 4', 6-diaminyl-2-phenylindole, is a blue fluorescent dye that can penetrate the cell membrane, it is mainly used to fix the staining of cells, and can produce more than 20 times stronger fluorescence than DAPI itself after combining with double-stranded DNA, without binding to single-stranded DNA. The excitation wavelength of DAPI dye is 340 nm, the emission wavelength is 488 nm, and the excitation wavelength is 364 nm and the emission wavelength is 454 nm after combining with double-stranded DNA.
This product contains DAPI, which can be used to complete nuclear staining and sealing at the same time. Just drop a drop of this product on the sample with the pipette gun during sealing and cover the cover glass to complete the operation.
