Description
This kit uses TaqMan probe method for real-time fluorescence PCR technology, designs a pair of specific primers, combines with a specific probe, and uses fluorescence PCR technology to amplify and detect the DNA of Babesia bovis and Babesia bicalcarata in vitro, for clinical pathogen diagnosis of suspected infected individuals.
Application
Babesiosis bovis is a blood parasitic disease caused by infection of Babesia parasites, transmitted through tick bites. After being bitten by ticks and infected with Babesia, cattle may experience symptoms such as fever, anemia, hemoglobinuria, and ataxia, which can lead to death in severe cases. This disease causes significant losses to animal husbandry. In China, the main pathogens causing Babesia bovis disease are Babesia bovis and Babesia bicalcarata. This kit is suitable for detecting Babesia bovis and Babesia bicalcarata in blood samples, and is used as an auxiliary diagnosis for Babesia bovis and Babesia bicalcarata infections.
Specimen collection
Collect bovine vein anticoagulant in a sealed plastic centrifuge tube, number it, store it at 4 ℃, and send it for testing.
