Description
This kit adopts real-time fluorescent PCR technology based on the TaqMan probe method. A pair of specific primers and a specific probe targeting the PAT gene sequence are designed to amplify and detect the DNA of the PAT gene sequence in vitro by fluorescent PCR, so as to achieve the purpose of rapid detection.
Application
Phosphinthricin acetyltransferase (PAT) confers tolerance to the herbicide glufosinate-ammonium. It is widely used in the modification of rice, soybean, corn, wheat and other crops to generate a large number of glufosinate-resistant crops. This kit is suitable for the detection of the PAT gene in genetically modified plants, and is used to screen for the presence of PAT in plant samples.
