Description
This kit uses TaqMan probe real-time fluorescence PCR technology to design human rotavirus group A/group B/group C specific primers, combined with specific probes, and uses fluorescence PCR technology to perform in vitro amplification and detection of human rotavirus group A/group B/group C RNA for clinical etiological diagnosis of suspected infection.
Application
Rotavirus diarrhea is a gastrointestinal infectious diarrhea caused by rotavirus. Rotavirus mainly attacks children under 5 years old from November to May of the following year and is one of the main causes of death in children in autumn and winter. Almost all children have been infected with rotavirus before the age of 5. According to statistics, there are about 111 million to 135 million cases of rotavirus diarrhea worldwide each year, resulting in the death of 650,000 infants.
This kit is suitable for detecting human rotavirus group A/group B/group C RNA in clinical samples and is suitable for auxiliary diagnosis of human rotavirus group A/group B/group C infection.
Applicable instruments
Real-time fluorescence PCR instrument with FAM,VIC,ROX,CY5 channels.
