Instructions
Weigh 50g of this product, add 1L of distilled water or deionized water, stir and heat to boil until completely dissolved, and transfer to a test tube with an appropriate amount of beef pellets added. Add the beef pellets to a height of 2-3cm in the test tube, and the liquid culture medium should be about 1 cm above the surface of the meat pellets. Consider adding 0.1-0.2g/L of reduced iron powder, then add 0.3-0.4cm of sterile liquid paraffin, sterilize at 121℃ for 20 minutes, and use heating for oxygen removal after 24 hours.
Application
Used for the cultivation and preservation of anaerobic bacteria, as well as for the testing of Clostridium botulinum and facultative anaerobic and anaerobic Clostridium difficile.
