Description
This kit uses the multiplex fluorescent PCR detection technology to design respectively specific primers and probes for Dengue virus I, Dengue virus II, Dengue virus III, and Dengue virus IV, to realize the qualitative detection and genotyping identification of Dengue virus I/II/III/IV in serum samples.
Application
This kit is suitable for in vitro qualitative detection of dengue virus type I/II/III/IV nucleic acid in human serum samples. The test results can be used for the typing and identification of dengue virus type I/II/III/IV. The test results are not the only indicators for the evaluation of the patient's condition, and the condition must be comprehensively analyzed in combination with the patient's clinical manifestations and other laboratory tests.
Dengue is an acute febrile illness caused by the dengue virus and is characterized by fever, arthralgia, muscle pain, rash, swollen lymph nodes, and leukopenia. Dengue virus belongs to the Flavivirus genus in the Flaviviridae family. Virus particles are dumbbell-shaped, rod-shaped or spherical, and the genome is single-stranded positive-stranded RNA. In clinical or laboratory, virus cell culture method or neutralization test is used as the main detection method.
