Description
This kit uses real-time fluorescence PCR detection technology to achieve quantitative detection of dengue virus in serum samples by using a pair of specific primers and a specific fluorescent probe in the conserved region of the dengue virus gene. This kit sets Internal control, to monitor the presence of PCR inhibitors in the samples by detecting whether the internal control is normal, so as to avoid PCR false negative result.
Application
This kit is suitable for the quantitative detection of dengue virus nucleic acid in human serum samples in vitro. Dengue fever (DF) is a class of acute febrile illnesses caused by Dengue virus (DGV), characterized by fever, arthralgia, muscle pain, rash, swollen lymph nodes, leukopenia, and in severe cases bleeding and shock and even death. The genome of dengue virus is a single positive-strand RNA, and there are four serotypes (DGV-1, DGV-2, DGV-3 and DGV-4). All four serotypes can cause the infection and epidemic of dengue fever, and the antigenicity of each type of virus intersects.
