Description
Specific primers and probes are designed targeting the highly conserved regions of the Lactobacillus genome for this kit. When the reaction system contains Lactobacillus genomic template, the PCR reaction proceeds and releases fluorescent signals. A real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR instrument is used to monitor and output signals from corresponding channels in real time during PCR, so as to realize qualitative analysis of detection results.
Application
This kit is applicable to nucleic acid detection of Lactobacillus. The known physiological functions of Lactobacillus mainly include blocking the invasion and colonization of pathogenic bacteria in the intestinal tract, inhibiting pathogenic bacteria and resisting infection, maintaining intestinal microecological balance, preventing and inhibiting tumor occurrence, enhancing body immunity, and promoting digestion.
Lactobacillus is an important group of lactic acid bacteria, Gram-positive, non-spore-forming, strictly anaerobic or facultatively anaerobic. Common species in the human intestinal tract include Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, etc. This reagent is used for qualitative nucleic acid detection of Lactobacillus.

ABI series, Bio-Rad series, Roche LC480, QIAGEN Rotor-Gene series, Tianlong Gentier-96E/96R series, Yaru MA6000, Hongshi SLAN-96S/96P and other multi-channel real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR instruments.
Specimen collection
- Sample Selection: There are more than 40 known Lactobacillus species, mainly isolated from animal feces, vaginal secretions, cheese, pickled vegetables, etc. Common samples include food samples, dairy products, feces, vaginal swabs, etc. Appropriate samples shall be selected for detection according to specific clinical conditions during collection.
- Aseptic Operation: Aseptic operation shall be adopted during sample collection to avoid contamination by external bacteria.
- Storage: Samples can be stored at 2~8°C for no more than 72 hours; long-term storage is available below -70°C, but repeated freeze-thaw cycles shall be avoided (maximum 5 freeze-thaw cycles).
