The reaction system is lyophilized powder that contains all components required for fluorescence PCR, including Taq enzyme, reverse transcriptase, primers, probes, dNTPs, and Mg2+ etc.
Add 100μL Redissolved Diluent to the HHV-7 quantitative standard substances 1~4, mix well, and use a handheld centrifuge to centrifuge briefly before use.
Description
The kit uses real-time fluorescence PCR to detect HHV-7 with one pair of primers and one specific fluorescent probe respectively. The method was used for the quantitative detection of HHV-7 in serum or plasma samples. The kit is provided with an internal control(IC), which can monitor whether there is PCR inhibitor in the sample to be tested by detecting whether the IC is normal or not, so as to avoid false negative PCR.
Application
This kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative detection of human herpesvirus 7 DNA in serum or plasma samples. The detection results are applicable to the auxiliary diagnosis of diseases caused by HHV-7.
Human Herpes Virus 7 (HHV-7) belongs to the family Herpesviridae β subfamily, genus Roseherpesviruses. HHV-7 is a common human herpes virus. Most infants are antibody positive 3 years after birth, and the antibody positive rate in healthy adults is more than 95%. The transmission mode of HHV-7 is still unclear, but the virus mainly exists latent in peripheral blood cells and salivary glands after infection, so the salivary transmission mode may be an important transmission route. HHV-7 can be isolated from peripheral blood monocytes of infants with acute fatigue syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome and renal transplantation. Its cytopathic characteristics and isolation and culture conditions are similar to those of HHV-7. It can be distinguished by monoclonal antibody reactivity, specific PCR, DNA analysis and other tests.
