Description
TBE (Tris Borate EDTA buffer), namely Tris boric acid EDTA buffer, is a buffer salt solution for nucleic acid electrophoresis commonly used in biology, mainly used for DNA agarose gel electrophoresis. The main components of TBE are Tris borate and EDTA, which have strong buffering ability and are suitable for long-term electrophoresis. The resolution is high, and the separation effect is good when electrophoresis is less than 1kb of fragments. The boric acid component in the TBE buffer will affect the DNA recovery efficiency and the subsequent enzyme reaction. To conduct the agarose gel electrophoresis recovery experiment of DNA fragments, it is recommended to use the TAE buffer. This product is 10 × Concentrated solution, diluted to 1 with distilled water or deionized water according to specific experimental requirements × Or 0.5 × Later use.
