Description
This kit employs the double-antibody sandwich method to measure the level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in bovine samples. The microplate is coated with purified bovine ROS antibodies to create a solid-phase antibody. After sequentially adding ROS to the wells coated with monoclonal antibodies, it binds with HRP-labeled ROS antibodies, forming an antibody-antigen-enzyme-labeled antibody complex. Following thorough washing, the substrate TMB is added for color development. Under the catalysis of HRP, TMB is converted to blue and further transformed into yellow under acidic conditions. The intensity of the color is directly proportional to the level of ROS in the sample. The absorbance (OD value) is measured at a wavelength of 450nm using a microplate reader, and the concentration of bovine ROS in the sample is calculated based on the standard curve.
Application
This kit is used for the determination of reactive oxygen species (ROS) content in bovine serum, plasma, tissues, and related liquid samples.
