Description
This reagent kit is designed based on the principle of fluorescence PCR technology, with specific primers and Taqman probes designed for varicella zoster virus. The nucleic acid of varicella zoster virus is detected by fluorescence PCR amplification instrument.
Application
This kit is used for qualitative detection of varicella zoster virus (VZV) nucleic acid and for auxiliary diagnosis and epidemiological monitoring of varicella zoster virus infection.
Specimen collection
- Sample types: herpes simplex fluid, blood, cerebrospinal fluid, nasopharyngeal secretions, and other samples.
- Storage conditions: The collected samples should be sent for testing in a timely manner. Samples tested within 24 hours should be stored at 4℃, and those tested for more than 24 hours should be stored at -70℃ (if there is no -70℃ storage condition, the test samples can be stored in a -20℃ refrigerator for 10 days), and repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided.
