Description
The kit uses one-step reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) combined with Taqman technology to design specific primers and specific fluorescent probes for herpes simplex virus and the conserved region of human endogenous gene RNaseP sequence, so as to realize the qualitative detection of Japanese encephalitis virus in patient serum samples.
Application
Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) is a single-stranded positive-sense RNA virus that can cause zoonotic infectious diseases through mosquitoes. The disease is an acute infectious disease mainly caused by lesions of the central nervous system. It has an acute clinical onset and has symptoms such as high fever, disturbance of consciousness, convulsions, tonic spasms and meningeal irritation. Severe cases often have sequelae after recovery, which is extremely harmful to children.
This kit is suitable for detecting Japanese encephalitis virus RNA in serum samples, and is suitable for auxiliary diagnosis and epidemiological investigation of Japanese encephalitis virus infection. The test results are for reference only.
