Description
This kit employs the double-antigen sandwich method to detect the expression of human rotavirus VP6 antibodies (RV VP6 Ab) in samples. The purified antigen is coated onto microplates to form solid-phase antigens, which can bind with RV VP6 Ab in the samples. After washing to remove unbound antibodies and other components, the antigens are further conjugated with HRP-labeled antigens, forming an antigen-antibody-HRP-labeled antigen complex. Following thorough washing, the substrate TMB is added for color development. TMB is converted into a blue color under the catalysis of HRP and further transformed into a final yellow color under acidic conditions. The absorbance (OD value) is measured at a wavelength of 450 nm using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) reader and compared with the cutoff value to determine the presence or absence of RV VP6 Ab in the samples.
Application
This kit is designed for the detection of Rotavirus VP6 antibody (RV VP6 Ab) expression in human serum, plasma, and related liquid samples.
Specimen requirements
- Extract the specimen as soon as possible after collection, according to relevant literature, and conduct experiments as soon as possible after extraction. If the experiment cannot be conducted immediately, the specimen can be stored at -20℃, but repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided.
- Samples containing NaN3 cannot be detected because NaN3 inhibits the activity of horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
