Description
This kit uses TaqMan probe real-time fluorescent PCR technology, designs specific primers and fluorescent probes based on Treponema pallidum, and uses fluorescent PCR technology to perform in vitro amplification and detection of Treponema pallidum nucleic acid for clinical etiological diagnosis of suspected infected samples. The kit is provided with an Internal Control(IC), which can monitor whether there is PCR inhibitor in the sample to be tested by detecting whether the Internal control is normal or not, so as to avoid false negative PCR.
Application
Treponema pallidum is the pathogen of syphilis. Because it is transparent and difficult to stain, it is also called pale spirochete. Treponema pallidum only infects humans. It is divided into acquired syphilis and congenital syphilis. Acquired syphilis is mainly transmitted through sexual contact; congenital syphilis is transmitted to the fetus through the placenta and the umbilical cord blood circulation by Treponema pallidum, which can cause systemic infection of the fetus. Treponema pallidum multiplies in the fetal organs and tissues, which can cause fetal death or miscarriage.
This kit is suitable for detecting Treponema pallidum in patients' blood and other samples, and is used for auxiliary diagnosis of Treponema pallidum infection.
Applicable instruments
Real-time fluorescence PCR instrument with VIC,ROX channels.
