Instructions
Weigh 56.5g of the powder in 1000mL of distilled water. Mix, heat with frequent agitation, and boil until complete dissolution is achieved. Cool to approximately 50°C. Aseptically pour into sterile Petri dishes under sterile conditions. Allow the medium to solidify before use.
Application
Used for the selective isolation and cultivation of Salmonella and Shigella species.
