Description
This kit uses real-time fluorescence PCR detection technology to achieve qualitative detection of Hepatitis A virus in serum or plasma samples by using a pair of specific primers and a specific fluorescent probe of Hepatitis A virus. The kit is provided with an internal control, which can monitor whether there is PCR inhibitor in the sample to be tested by detecting whether the Internal control is normal or not, so as to avoid false negative PCR.
Application
Hepatitis A, an intestinal infectious disease caused by the hepatitis A virus (HAV), is distributed worldwide. Traditionally, HAV testing is performed through cell culture. However, due to the long culture cycle and low proliferation capacity of HAV cells, they generally do not cause cytopathic effects, making them difficult to detect. PCR technology improves sensitivity and specificity and greatly shortens detection time, bringing convenience to hepatitis A detection.
This kit is suitable for detecting hepatitis A virus RNA in blood and other specimens of suspected infected persons, and is suitable for auxiliary diagnosis of hepatitis A virus infection.
Applicable instruments
Real-time fluorescence PCR instrument with VIC and ROX channels.
Specimen collection
- Applicable sample type: Serum specimens.
- Sample collection: Collect 2mL of venous blood from suspected infected individuals into EDTA-2Na anticoagulant tubes. Centrifuge at 2000rpm for 5 minutes. Take the upper serum (be careful not to bring in red blood cells) and transfer it to another sterile centrifuge tube for use.
- Sample storage and transportation: The collection or processing sample should not exceed 24 hours under the conditions of 2℃ ~ 8℃. If long-term preservation is needed, it should be stored below -70°C, and the freezing fusion should not exceed 3 times.
