Description
This kit uses a pair of avian leukemia virus specific primers, combined with a specific fluorescent probe, to perform in vitro amplification and detection of avian leukemia virus RNA using one-step fluorescent RT-PCR technology, for clinical pathogen diagnosis of suspected infected individuals.
Application
Avian Leukosis Virus (ALV) is an important pathogen that causes tumor diseases in poultry. It can also lead to severe cellular and humoral immune suppression as well as growth inhibition in infected organisms, making it prone to co infection or co infection with other pathogens such as Marek's disease virus (MDV) and infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV). At present, there are no effective vaccines and drugs for the prevention and treatment of ALV, mainly through continuous testing and elimination of positive chickens to continuously purify the chicken population. Fluorescent PCR technology has become an important means of detecting avian leukemia pathogens due to its high sensitivity, strong specificity, and easy operation.
This kit is suitable for detecting avian leukemia virus in whole blood, plasma or serum with white blood cells, spleen, liver, kidney and other specimens, and is suitable for auxiliary diagnosis of avian leukemia virus infection.
